kfm ist ein Kleinverlag, der in erster Linie Theaterstücke in zweisprachiger Ausgabe publiziert, d.h. ein Buch enthält sowohl den englischen Originaltext als auch die deutsche Übersetzung. Dabei hat letztere nicht zum Ziel, das Original zu erläutern, wie das etwa bei den ‘dual-language books’, sondern sie stellt ein selbständiges literarisches Werk dar, ist ein vollwertiges Theaterstück in sich.
kfm is a small publishing company specialising in the publication of plays in two languages, i.e., the books include the original (first language) text as well as its (second language) translation. The goal of the latter is not as it is in the so-called ‘dual-language books’ to explain the original; it is a literary work independent of its source text, a play of its own.
